Overview:

Online channel contribution remained strong with 39% share in overall smartphone shipments in April 2019. However offline segment continue to dominate as there were more offers in offline segment for higher ASP devices. Flipkart continues to lead the India online smartphone market driven by strong performance of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series and realme 3. Others online marketplaces shipments increased 145% MoM in April 2019 primarily driven by Xiaomi Mi.com, realme’s own online platform.

Most of the online brands now have a good exposure to both the popular channels. Asus and OnePlus are the only brands having strong presence in only one of the leading platforms.
