India’s smartphone shipments declined 4% YoY to cross 51 million units in Q3 2021. However, the market declined 1% YoY in September 2021. OEMs look to infuse the channel with stock in preparation for the festive season.
Smartphone shipments maintained a strong momentum after the second COVID-19 wave. The consumer demand outweighed the supply due to the high pent-up demand.
