This report centres on recent happenings in the smartphone market in Lagos, Nigeria. Lagos is a city with a population of about 18 million people. The city is commonly regarded as the commercial centre of Nigeria and any changes in the trend of mobile phone retail within the city can be taken either as a reflection of the trend all over the country or a leading indicator of how the country will respond.
