Overview:
Counterpoint Research has been tracking the global smartphone industry on a monthly basis. According to Counterpoint’s latest model tracker, Apple maintained the top spot in the global smartphone model by revenue list. Samsung, on the other hand, gained significantly in premium segment. Huawei had a tough time following the trade ban, however, more recently a combination of excellent performance in China and a rebound in other markets led to overall good performance. We explored different model level insights in this short report.
