Apple has been the key driver in the fingerprint sensor penetration since it first adopted it in 2013. In 2016 we expect most flagship smartphones to be equipped with fingerprint technology for added security. As a result of this, growth will be spearheaded by tier one players like Apple, Samsung, Huawei and others moving towards fingerprint sensor along with the growth of existing Chinese brands offering affordable flagships like LeTV, Xiaomi and OnePlus etc.
