Smartphone share accounts for 99% of the overall handset market by revenue. The smartphone market reached USD 97 Billion in revenue, growing 26% YoY, driven by Xiaomi’s record shipments as well as Apple’s highest shipments for a second quarter. Apple captured 40% of overall smartphone revenue. Apple’s wholesale ASP increased 16% YoY driven by higher contribution of the recent iPhone 12 series.
