Summary:

• Global smartphone market wholesale revenues grew 5% YoY during the fourth quarter of 2021.
• Apple captured 53% of overall smartphone revenue in Q4 2021, its highest ever, as compared with 51% in Q4 2020.
• Among regions, China led the revenue share (26.5%) driven by strong 5G smartphone penetration. In Q4 2021, China accounted for 38% of the 5G smartphone shipment.
• Apple's revenue grew 85% QoQ with the bulk of demand for its latest iPhone 13 series falling in the last (holiday season) quarter of the year.
